During this season of Thanksgiving, we are thankful for the profound impact that the faithful witness of the churches and ministries of the Capital District are having in the lives of God’s people in our mission field.
We give thanks for the life-giving word of God that has been shared and taught leading to greater spiritual understanding and deeper commitments to God. An abundance of ministries and programs of outreach and mission have been extended, bringing relief, restoration, and renewal in many life-giving ways. Many weary souls have found refuge in the Christian love that has been shared with them in numerous ways through various churches and ministries throughout the district. We are grateful for our collective witness that reflects the work of Christ to welcome and establish God’s kingdom in the world.
Therefore it is our hope that your Thanksgiving holiday will be filled with all that gives you peace, love, and joy and also in assurance that your efforts and sacrifices for Christ are making a vital difference and are so greatly appreciated.
